At about 0545h. today, police say that food vendor Vincent Ramkissoon, 48 years, of Canal No. 1, WBD, was attacked by a man armed with a firearm in an apparent robbery attempt at Ketley Street, Charlestown.
Ramkissoon, police said was shot to his left foot by the perpetrator who escaped after residents came out and accosted him.
Ramkissoon has been admitted to Hospital. Police investigations continue.
