Chief Librarian’s funeral rescheduled

The funeral of the Chief Librarian Gillian Thompson will now be held tomorrow instead of today.

A release from the National Library said that on Saturday, January 4th, there will be a brief viewing at the Merriman Funeral Home from 12.30 pm to 1 pm. The body will then be removed to the Trinity Methodist Church on Leopold and High streets for tributes at 13:30 hours followed by the funeral service at 14:30 hours.
