During today, the police say that Carol Miranda Shako, 42 years, of Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke/Linden Highway, had an argument with a man with whom she shared a relationship during which she was struck to her head and chopped to her neck with an axe. She was pronounced dead on arrival at the Diamond Diagnostic Centre.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations, police say.
