At about 0245h. today, the police say that two men were involved in an argument on the Plaisance Railway Embankment, ECD, when one of them discharged rounds at the other which missed and struck bystander Jomo Lewis, 34 years, of Plaisance Squatting Area, ECD, to his shoulder and abdomen. He has been admitted to the GPHC for treatment.
The suspect has not yet been arrested.
The investigations are in progress.
