The body of a 77-year-old woman was discovered around 9.30 am today in a house at Montrose, East Coast Demerara in a pool of blood.
Danrasie ‘Carmen’ Ganesh was believed to have been beaten to death.
Relatives believe that robbery was not the motive as most of the valuables in the house were intact.
Police are conducting investigations.
