At about 1245h. today, the police said that during efforts to arrest a suspect who is wanted for questioning pending enquiries into a matter of an armed robbery and murder, the police had cause to discharge rounds which accidentally damaged the window of a building at Meadow Brook Gardens, Georgetown. No one was injured.
The matter has been resolved with the owner of the building.
The suspect managed to escape.
