Investigations are being conducted into an incident that occurred at about 2320h. last night in the compound of Freedom House, Robb Street, Georgetown, the headquarters of the opposition PPP, in which a so far unidentified man was shot and injured by a security guard, the police said today.
Investigations have revealed that the man was seen on the roof of the kitchen part of the premises and during efforts to apprehend him, he attacked the security guard with a knife and was shot. He has been admitted a patient under guard at the GPHC.
