Samuel Hinds Jr jailed for two months on wounding charge, gets bail

Samuel Hinds Jr. was today placed on $50,000 bail pending the appeal of the two-month sentence handed down by Magistrate Annette Singh for the charge of wounding his sister-in-law.

Hinds Jr was in addition fined $10,000 for the abusive behaviour charge.

The accused, son of former Prime Minister Samuel Hinds, was found guilty by Magistrate Geeta Chandan-Edmond last year of threatening and wounding his sister-in-law Tenza Lane.
