Dear Editor,
In November, 2014, you had kindly published my letter which referred to the GRA’s failure to pay me income tax refunds for 2012 and 2013. Seven months later, I am yet to receive the refunds in spite of the politely expressed assurances of a supervisor, that are actually vacuous promises.
Interestingly, two months ago, I sold my car. I have since received two notices from the GRA, reminding me to renew the road licence of the said vehicle. Evidently, the GRA strenuously pursues its revenue collection. Why then is the same vigilance not utilised to pay refunds?
