Attorney General Basil Williams recently received the US Embassy’s Economic & Commercial Officer Frisco Mc Donald and International & Law enforcement Coordinator Leon Carr at the Attorney General Chambers.
A release from the AG’s Chambers yesterday said that Mc Donald discussed legislation to support Guyana’s efforts to prepare its energy sector for oil through its Energy Governance and Capacity Initiative while Carr spoke on Cybercrime and the US Department of Justice offer of assistance to participating countries in developing laws and procedures that will improve the ability to investigate and prosecute crimes involving the use of computers and the internet.
