About 2200h. last night, the police say that Saitanya Kishundyal, 21 years, of Rosehall, Corentyne, was closing the gate to his residence when he was confronted by a man armed with a firearm during which there was a scuffle and he was shot to his abdomen and the assailant escaped.
Kishundyal has been admitted to the GPHC as the investigations continue.
