Investigations are being conducted into a report of murder-suicide that occurred at about 1500h. today at Kartabo, Cuyuni River, involving Terry Alexander, 22 years, and Glenda McCurdy, 19 years, both of Kartabo.
Investigations so far, the police say have revealed that Alexander and McCurdy, who shared a relationship, had a domestic argument during which he shot her and then turned the firearm on himself.
A .22 pistol has been recovered by the police as the investigations continue.
