Today, at about 03:40h. ranks of the Mahdia Police Station responded to the area of Dadagoo Shop in Mahdia for reports that a man was seen motionless on the roadway.
Upon arrival, the police say that the body of Romel Daniels, 25 years, of Campbelltown, Mahdia was discovered with what appears to be a single stab wound to his abdomen.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to collect evidence and canvass the area for potential witnesses.
The body is at the Mahdia Hospital Mortuary awaiting a post-mortem. The investigation is ongoing and no arrest has been made at this time. A motive in the case has not yet been established. Investigators are asking for the community’s help for any information pertaining to the homicide.
