The police say they are investigating the murder of Omesh Chetram, 34 years, of Unity, ECD, which occurred sometime between 11:30h last night and 01:30h this morning at Bourda and Alexander streets, Georgetown.
Enquiries disclosed that Chetram had an argument with a male, during which the suspect stabbed him in the lower region of his abdomen with a knife and escaped. He was taken to the GPHC where a doctor pronounced him dead on arrival.
The suspect has not yet been arrested.
