About 2055h. last night, the police say that Patraj Basdeo, 46 years, of Sisters Village, WBD, was allegedly lying on the public road at Sisters when he was run over by a motor vehicle. He was taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The driver of the motor vehicle was found to above the legal limit in terms of the consumption of alcohol.
He is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
