A man who was reportedly captured on close circuit television committing a brazen robbery at an internet café, was yesterday remanded to prison.

Jason Joseph was yesterday accused of breaking and entering the internet café belonging to Orlando Batson and stealing a Dragon Touch tablet, valued $25,000 and $142,000.

The 31-year-old defendant pleaded not guilty to the offence which occurred on August 17 at Lot 162 Charlotte Street, Bourda.

According to Police Prosecutor Kerry Bostwick, who objected to bail, the defendant was identified in footage from CCTV cameras on the premises. The court heard that police were able to recover the tablet but not the money.
