A 36-year-old South Ruimveldt, Georgetown woman was detained last night by ranks of the Special Organized Crime Unit (SOCU) after being found in possession of US$44,688 on arrival at the Timehri airport. The police today said that she failed to declare the amount at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport after arriving on a flight from St. Lucia at 8 last night.
