The two suspects in custody in relation to the death of Brian Charles Yearwood, 16, of Covent Garden, East Bank Demerara, have been charged with murder and are to appear before a Magistrate on Monday May 08, 2017, the police said today.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 8 pm last Saturday in the Covent Garden Nursery School Compound. Their investigations have so far revealed that Yearwood was stabbed once in the centre of his chest, allegedly by a 17-year-old boy from Kaneville,
