Dramatist Godfrey Henry cleared of driving death charge

The charge instituted last year against actor and playwright Godfrey Henry, who was accused of killing a man by dangerous driving, was yesterday dismissed by a city magistrate.

Henry was accused of driving hire car HC 419, on April 20, 2016, at Homestretch Avenue, in a manner dangerous to the public, thereby causing the death of Fitzroy Daly.

Magistrate Leron Daly dismissed the charge yesterday after consideration of evidence led by the prosecution.
