The Police say they are probing a fatal accident which occurred about 1 this morning on the Liliendaal Public Road, ECD, that resulted the death of motorist Terrence Bowen, 36 years, of Lot 62 Atlanticville, ECD.
Investigations revealed that Bowen who was the lone occupant of motor car PVV 7104, was proceeding east along the northern carriageway, allegedly at a fast rate of speed when he lost control and his vehicle slammed into the bridge of the Ocean View Conference Centre. As a result of the impact, the front windscreen shattered and Bowen was flung into the Centre’s Compound and sustained severe injuries. He was rushed to the GPHC by public-spirited persons where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
