Guyana and West Indies star batsman Alvin Kallicharran is to be recognized as a Medallist of the Order of the British Empire for services to cricket and charity.
He was named in Queen Elizabeth’s New Year’s Honours List yesterday. Kallicharran, a Berbician, has lived for many years in the UK.
