The police say they are investigating the murder of Shamaine Frank, 27, a janitor of Lot 317 Victoria Village, East Coast Demerara, allegedly by the father of her three children today at about 3 am.
Initial investigations revealed that the victim’s brother saw the suspect in their yard and requested that he leave immediately, however sometime later the brother heard the victim screaming and rushed to her aid, where he discovered his sister with a stab wound to her left breast and three panes missing from a window.
The victim was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
No arrest made. Investigations are continuing.
