CAL warns about commute times because of CPL traffic diversions

(CAL) Piarco, Trinidad and Tobago, W.I., October 3, 2019 – Caribbean Airlines advises its customers that the Guyana Police Force has issued an advisory informing members of the general public that traffic diversions will be in effect to facilitate the CPL games being played at the Guyana National Stadium as follows:

·         Thursday October 3, 2019 – Traffic diversions in effect from 2:00 p.m.

·         Friday October 4, 2019 – Traffic diversions in effect from 2:00 p.m.

·         Sunday October 6, 2019 – Traffic diversions in effect from 6:00 a.m.

These traffic diversions may lengthen commute times to the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, and Caribbean Airlines recommends that customers make the necessary allowances to ensure arrival at the airport at LEAST 3 hours prior to their scheduled flight departure time to ensure that sufficient time is allowed for the necessary baggage and security checks.
