The Civil Defence Commission (CDC) yesterday morning opened an Oil Spill Planning and Readiness Assessment workshop at the Duke Lodge, which is aimed at finalising the Contingency Planning and Implementation of the Oil Pollution Preparedness Response and Cooperation Convention for key public and private players in the local oil and gas sector.
