With the recent dry weather, lawns and plants are crying out for help. Lawns are losing their beautiful green appearance and plants are wilting by 9 am in the mornings. There is just not enough water to satisfy their thirst.

You can help your lawn by spiking it so that the water can penetrate though it. In addition, water lawns and plants early in the mornings and evenings. This should help to keep their roots cool. There is no shortcut to this.

Also, lawns and plants will also be needing plant food for a boost. Miracle Gro All Purpose Plant Food is recommended. Use 1 tablespoon to a gallon of water once every seven days.

Until next week, Happy Gardening.
