Man killed by brother

A youth was this morning killed by his brother following a misunderstanding between them at Cummings Street, Georgetown.

The deceased is 24-year-old Paul Chase.

His mother, Sonia Chase, in a brief comment, told reporters that she confronted her son, Quency Reynolds, 27, about something but he denied any wrongdoing and got upset.

The woman said as a result she decided to call her husband, who informed her to call the police. Reynolds reportedly heard and became even more upset and dealt her a cuff to her left eye.

Chase said she later heard the voice of a woman outside pleading with her two sons to stop fighting and shortly after heard shouts of murder.

The suspect was subsequently taken into custody.
