Amid a surge of COVID-19 cases, Demerara Bank Limited (DBL) has with effect from today temporarily reduced opening hours at all of its branches.
In an advertisement in the last Sunday Stabroek, DBL said that its new hours will be 8 am to 1 pm from Monday to Friday and on Saturday at the Diamond, Le Ressouvenir and Mahaica branches from 8 am to 11.30 am.
DBL said it has reduced hours as an additional precautionary measure to minimise risks related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The bank says it continues to provide an uninterrupted range of banking services and urged customers to visit the branch premises “only in case of absolute necessity”.
