The PNCR today said that it has been informed of the passing yesterday of John Simon de Freitas, a former PNCR Member of Parliament from 1998 to 2001 in Madeira, Portugal.
“He was a highly-regarded businessman and corporate manager He was a devoted member of the Party and was an advisor to the late Party Leader and President Desmond Hoyte on private sector matters. Our heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives and friends”, the party said.
de Freitas served the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry for many years.
