Attorney-at-Law Nirvan Singh was this morning charged at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court with allegedly directing racial remarks towards Police Constable Shaunette Bollers.

Singh appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennon and pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was placed on $100,000 bail and instructed by the court not to contact Bollers by any means.

It is alleged that on March 20, 2022, Singh hurled racial comments towards the constable.

Bollers claimed the incident occurred while she was performing guard duties at the residence of Singh’s father, retired Chancellor of the Judiciary, Justice Carl Singh.
