(Trinidad Guardian) Police are probing two murders which occurred early yesterday morning.

In the first incident, Maloney resident Damien Danclair was shot and killed.

According to police, around 1.20 am, Danclair, who worked as a PH taxi driver, was in the carpark of Building Seven at Maloney Gardens liming with a group, when he was shot.

Maloney residents heard the gunshots and later found the 39-year-old on the ground.

He was taken to the nearby Arima Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival by medical officials.

Police said Danclair did not have a criminal record, nor did he have any links to gang activity.

Investigators are trying to find a motive for his killing.

And less than an hour later, Cunupia resident Keith Balramsingh was gunned down while moving his vehicle in the carpark at a bar.

Police said the 33-year-old was lured to his death, as a message was passed calling on him to specifically to move his vehicle.

Investigators said Balramsingh was at Kamachie’s Bar, along the South Trunk Road, Kelly Village, around 2 am, when he was asked to move his vehicle, which was reportedly blocking another vehicle in the carpark.

Police said as Balramsingh went into the driver’s seat to move his car, his killer or killers opened fire on him. He was shot multiple times in the upper body.
