Yusuf Hinds, aged 26 years, of Bartica who is accused of raping a girl between 2022/10/01 and 2022/10/27, was yesterday charged and placed before the court.
The accused on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 appeared at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court where the charge was read to him, a statement from the police said.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge and was placed on $150,000 bail.
The matter was adjourned until November 21, 2022.
