The Ministry of Public Works today advertised for major works for Black Bush Polder (BBP) on the Corentyne and Canal No.1 and Canal No.2 in Region Three.
In an invitation for bids in today’s Sunday Stabroek, the ministry announced the rehabilitation/construction of a section of the BBP road at Yakusari, Region Six. The engineer’s estimate for this project is $200m.
Bids were also invited for the rehabilitation/construction of a section of the BBP road at Johanna, Region Six. The engineer’s estimate for this project is $150m.
Work is also being planned for the rehabilitation/construction of Canal No.1 (Phase 5), Region Three. The engineer’s estimate is $150m.
Bids are also being sought for rehabilitation/construction of the Canal No.2 Polder Road, (Phase 5), Region 3. The engineer’s estimate is $150m.
Bids will be opened on March 1st.
