Police are investigating the murder of Bibi Naseefa Baksh, a 48-year-old housewife of Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara. The murder was allegedly committed by a 29-year-old fisherman/labourer of the said address and with whom Baksh shared a relationship.
The police are now seeking the suspect, Shivnand Henry.
Investigations indicate that the now-deceased woman and the suspect shared a relationship and were living together at Uitvlugt with the suspect’s 61-year-old mother and the victim’s 12-year-old daughter.
It is alleged that Baksh and the suspect had domestic issues.
