Michael Andrew Morgan found guilty of drug trafficking

Michael Andrew Morgan was today found guilty of possession of a narcotic for the purpose of trafficking to wit approximately 7 lbs. (3.27 kg) of cocaine.

The decision was handed down by Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Grove/Diamond Magistrate’s Court, according to a release from the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU).

Sentencing was deferred to the 14th July, 2023 pending a probation report.

Morgan was charged back in June 2022, when CANU officers discovered the cocaine at his residence, Ixora Avenue, Eccles, East Bank Demerara.
