Earlier today, the MV Ma Lisha returned to Port Georgetown after concluding its inaugural journey to Region One, a release from the Ministry of Public Works said.

The new ferry left for the north west on August 10th.

Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill, visited the Georgetown Goods Wharf to observe the vessel’s arrival. He engaged with passengers to gather insights that could help improve the service as needed, the release said.

Edghill also took the opportunity to assess the ongoing rehabilitation efforts at the wharf.
