Police say moving to take action against reckless road users

The Guyana Police Force, through its Traffic Department, is moving to take stern action against reckless road users.

In an effort to curb the increase in road deaths caused by reckless driving, the Guyana Police Force says it has embarked on this new initiative, which will see more frequent and robust Traffic Enforcement Exercises across Guyana. There will be zero tolerance for traffic offenders, and more persons will be placed before the courts once they break the Traffic Laws, the release said today.

The force released a list of some of the top offenders in the last 90 days.
