The Guyana Police Force (GPF) yesterday congratulated Mandel Moore on his recent promotion to Senior Police Legal Advisor.
Moore, BSocSci, LLB, LEC, joined the GPF as the Police Junior Legal Advisor in the year 2021.
A statement from the police said that prior to his taking office, he was employed in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) as a senior state counsel.
He studied at the University of Guyana and the Hugh Wooding Law School. In the years 2007–2011, he studied for a Bachelor of Sociology; from 2011–2014, he received a Bachelor of Laws degree from UG; and from 2014–2016, he graduated from Hugh Wooding Law School with his Legal Education Certificate (LEC). He was admitted to the Guyana Bar in October 2016.
Moore was reported in the statement as saying: “I find working with the Police a rewarding experience. I see myself being able to give back to society, and that to me is the best”.
