Extraordinary sitting of National Assembly for November 3rd on Venezuela border controversy

Amid rising tensions and a controversial referendum planned by Caracas on December 3rd, an Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly will be held on Friday, November 3rd to consider a motion on the Guyana/Venezuela border controversy.

This is according to a release today from parliament office.

The government and the opposition have underlined their solidarity in recent days in rejecting belligerence from Venezuela on the border controversy.
