(Trinidad Express) Five days after being snatched, El Socorro businesswoman Anesha Narine-Boodhoo has been found.

Narine-Boodhoo is this morning back home with her family, according to sources.

Details of her physical condition and release was not immediately known.

Police have several suspects in custody.

Narine-Boodhoo was kidnapped last Friday morning along Girez Lane, El Socorro.

Narine-Boodhoo, one of the operators of auto parts supplier Autorama Ltd, was in her white Toyota Prado when a black Toyota Rush with blue swivel lights pulled up next to her and blocked her path, just metres from her home.

Three unmasked men exited the vehicle and made their way towards Narine-Boodhoo.

They spoke with the mother of two teenagers before dragging her out of the SUV and placing her in their vehicle.

No known ransom demand was made.

A vehicle of the same make and model used to kidnap Narine-Boodhoo (a Toyota Rush) was found burnt and abandoned in Caroni over the weekend.

The vehicle was found by officers of the Northern Division Task Force in a bushy area off the Caroni North Bank Road, Centeno.

The Toyota Rush SUV had been burnt, leading investigators to suspect criminal elements attempted to set it on fire to destroy evidence.
