GCB boss sees unique achievement in Guyana’s cricket

GCB vice-president asks Stuart to rescind resignation as TDO

Former Guyana and West Indies fast bowler Colin Stuart resigned as the West Indies Cricket Board’s (WICB) Technical Development Officer (TDO) with the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) last month but was asked to rescind his decision by GCB’s vice-president Bissoondial Singh.

Series squared with three matches to go

An unbeaten century from Shivnarine Chanderpaul and yet another half century from the consistent Ramnaresh Sarwan helped the West Indies square the five-match Digicel limited overs series 1-1 with a 21-run win in the second ODI at the National Stadium at Providence yesterday.

GCB head congratulates “Tiger” on CCH award

President of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Chetram Singh yesterday offered his congratulations to Guyana, West Indies and Durham middle order batsman Shivnarine ‘Tiger’ Chanderpaul, who has received the Cacique Crown of Honour (CCH), the third highest national award, from President Bharrat Jagdeo.
