Santa Rosa RC Church marks bicentennial

The Santa Rosa Roman Catholic Church marked its 200th anniversary on Sunday and Bishop of the Diocese of Georgetown Francis Alleyne has said the history of Roman Catholicism in Guyana is linked to the establishment of the church.

Commission on lifestyle diseases in outreach to pensioners

Commissioners of the National Commission for the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCPC-NCD) yesterday conducted outreaches at post offices in Campbellville, Bourda, at the Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) head office and the Grove facility on the East Bank of Demerara.
