Region Nine soap producers flown to city for trainingat IAST lab

A group of Indigenous soap and beauty care producers from Region Nine are in the city benefiting from training at the laboratories of the Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IAST) A release from the Ministry of the Presidency yesterday said that the training is a result of a partnership between the Ministry of Social Cohesion and IAST.

Windsor Forest man dies in accident

About 2335h. last night, the police say that Clement Sukdeo, 69 years, of Windsor Forest, WCD, was driving a motor vehicle along the Leonora Public Road, WCD, when he lost control of the vehicle which turned turtle in a trench.

‘I broke no laws’

Under pressure following a damning audit report that recommended criminal charges and disciplinary action for breaching laws, head of government’s holding company NICIL, Winston Brassington yesterday defended his leadership of the entity saying he broke no laws and the report is not backed up with evidence.
