No bail for 4 Trinidad men charged with kidnapping of Natalie Pollonais

(Trinidad Express) A SENIOR magistrate has made reference to the seriousness of the allegation against the four men, including two police officers, charged with the kidnapping of housewife Natalie Pollonais for ransom.

APNU clinches 21 city seats

Following Monday’s Local Government Elections (LGE) the capital city of Georgetown will remain under the control of A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) which has secured 21 of its 30 seats but the opposition People’s Progressive Party/Civic has significantly increased its position at the council earning a total of seven seats at the Horseshoe table.

Linden voted overwhelmingly for APNU

Linden has voted overwhelmingly in favour of A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) but the Alliance for Change (AFC) has still been able to acquired two seats on the 16-member council while the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) has garnered one seat.
