NEW YORK/SAN FRANCISCO,  (Reuters) – The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission yesterday accused Tesla Inc Chief Executive Elon Musk of fraud and sought to remove him from his role in charge of the electric car company, saying he made a series of “false and misleading” tweets about potentially taking Tesla private last month.

Ministry laments vandalising of traffic signs

On Monday, 17 September 2018, the Ministry of Public Infrastructure (MoPI) says it was observed by two workers from the Ministry, while visiting the site of Schoonord Road leading to La Parfaite Harmonie on West Bank Demerara, that seven out of ten bump traffic signs and metal posts that were installed by Design Perspectives a few weeks ago were missing with only the foundation remaining.

PPP says list withdrawal rules altered

The final processing of the nomination lists for candidates and the backers of lists for candidates at the upcoming Local Government Elections is being compromised as people who wish to have their names withdrawn from the lists cannot do so as agreed to by the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) says Commissioner, Robeson Benn.
