Two hostages have been released in Haiti, group says

PORT-AU-PRINCE,  (Reuters) – Two of the 17 American and Canadian Christian missionaries taken hostage in Haiti last month have been released, the group that arranged for their trip to the Caribbean nation said yesterday, without giving further details.

New York judge vacates convictions of two men for 1965 murder of Malcolm X

NEW YORK, (Reuters) – Two men who spent decades in prison for murdering Black activist and civil rights advocate Malcolm X in 1965 were exonerated yesterday by a New York state judge, after the Manhattan district attorney said evidence had been withheld in the case and apologized for “violations of law and public trust.”
