Dear Editor, It was pure hell from Saturday 10th May to Monday 12th May 2014 when a wedding or some kind of event was being celebrated in Seaforth Street, Campbellville which saw the residents there and around the environs being mercilessly abused by the organizers playing extremely loud, heavy music.

Dear Editor, The majority opposition will cry buckets of tears unless they take decisive action now to build up their presence in the villages of Guyana.

Dear Editor, Imagine this scenario for it is real, two antagonists; one understandable and the other fundamentally incapable, locked in a grim power struggle.

Dear Editor, Further to the several accolades attributed recently to Professor Suresh Narine, I wish to add another dimension of which many Guyanese might not be aware: His world class status in the academic/scientific/research/innovation arenas have not got into his head so that he remains humble and approachable; he is a real joy to be with as a friend, colleague, fellow Hindu and a decent human being.
