Canadian karate team is here

By Marlon Munroe The Canadian karate team arrived in Guyana on Monday for the 11th International Shotokhan Karate Federation (ISKF) tournament scheduled for August 14-15 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

GT&T pumps $500,000 into the hosting of Pan Am Karate c/ships

By Kizan Brumell The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) Company in its continued effort to drive the development of sports yesterday handed over a cheque for half a million dollars to the Guyana Karate College (GKC) as a gesture of its support to that body’s hosting of the Pan American Karate Championship in Guyana.

National Sevens team for five-day intensive training camp in B/dos
