An awards ceremony for fifty African women is slated for tonight at the National Cultural Centre and a unique but barely recognized musical group called the ‘Buxton Fusion School of Music‘ will be part of the entertainment.

Well known local designer Sonia Noel is expected to receive a Caribbean Fashion Ambassador award from the USVI Fashion Weekend, a two-day event set for October 8 and 9 at the prestigious Frenchmen’s Reef Resort on the island of St Thomas USVI.

Three-time road-march queen Melissa ‘Vanilla’ Roberts is set to release her new music video today for her song ‘All Night Long,’ which was remixed by one of Brazil’s top producers,  Jeremias Lima of Alquimia Digital following the original release by Kross Kolor Records.
