Two persons are now patients of the Georgetown Public Hospital after being involved in separate accidents on Wednesday night.
Oswald De Jonge, 46, of Fourth Street, Agricola was taken to the medical institution around 21:25 hours after he was hit by a car while attempting to cross the Agricola Public Road.
He sustained injuries to his head and was seen by a doctor and admitted to the male medical ward.
Meanwhile Youla Smith, 62, of Hadfield Street was admitted to the female ward after she was struck down by a minibus at the corner of Mandela Avenue and Norton Street.
She sustained minor injuries about her body and arrived at the medical institution around 21:10 hours.
