Dear Editor,

I wish to express my gratitude to Region 3 Chairman, Mr Faerber, for his effort to improve our living conditions.

For Christmas he gave us, the residents of Patentia, the gift of a repaired main bridge, which had been showing signs of deterioration, and a reconstructed main street.

How long this gift of the main road will last is another matter, since it cannot accommodate the heavy vehicles that damaged the previous road, parapets and culverts – concrete culverts.
